Each year the Small Business Technology Council, SBTC, highlights and honors select Program Managers and Contracting Officers for their work in helping SBIR/STTR companies commercialize their SBIR developed technology.
Nominations for the SBTC Champion of Small Business Commercialization Award are submitted by industry and evaluated by an independent panel to identify those who have gone above and beyond to help small businesses transition innovation from product incubation to market launch.
Beacon, having worked with Ms. Frost for years, was pleased to nominate her and honored when SBTC selected her to receive this prestigious Award.
“Ms. Frost places a high value on Small Business innovation and purposefully acts to incorporate SBIR developed technologies into DoD Programs” said Mike MacEwen, President and Co-Founder of Beacon. “She leads by example and consistently shares with other Program Managers her knowledge of how to effectively incorporate SBIR Phase III Transitions into existing DoD Programs and Technology Roadmaps.”
